When a boy inadvertently intercepts and replies to a letter meant for the monster who lives under his bed, he discovers that another monster is coming to play. The boy nervously studies up on how to appeal to a visiting monster, while the monster is thrown into a panic over how to adapt his style to suit a little boy.

The result is hilarious.
